Please fill out the adoption application on our website. We always do a three week foster to adopt so that way you can see if your other pets get along and if the animal is a good fit for your family. We also conduct routine house checks before adopting our dogs out to ensure they end up in loving homes. We post about our adoptable dogs regularly, so be sure to follow us on social media for updates!

Email us at k911resq@gmail.com, and we’ll give you the details on our next volunteer orientation. We’ll have you fill out a form with some basic contact information (also found here) and will need to scan a valid ID for our records. We have openings for many different roles (transporting, grant writing, fundraising, event setup, etc.)!

We always appreciate donations, as we are a 501(c)3 and depend on donations to save dogs. Additionally, you can get involved by posting about or sharing posts from K911 ResQ on social media or fundraising in your area.

We require that all fosters meet with our team and undergo a house check before we can place dogs with you. We ask that you only apply if you live in the Los Angeles area. Please email k911resq@gmail.com, or visit our foster page to get the process started!

We will place a dog in a foster home with all of the supplies they’ll need. Since some of our dogs are major medical cases, dogs may be placed with fosters at different points in the healing process and may require more or less intensive care depending on the case. Some dogs may have follow-up vet appointments (paid for by K911 ResQ). Mostly, we ask that you love our dogs the way you would your own and treat them with kindness and respect.
